This is a first year Pelikan 100N in the less common black and gray stripe. Introduced in 1937, these pens are much more similar to the original 100 than to the later 100Ns which were made into the 1950s. This example has a very uncommon section, which looks much more like that of the 100 than the N models. In all, a most interesting pen and a fine addition to any collection. (PE4050)
