Description:

The Pelikan 140 was the workhorse that fueled Pelikan's recovery after World War II. The company sold millions of them as upmarket school pens, pens for teachers, clerks, accountants.

During the period 1950-63 they also offered some upmarket versions in attractive colors such as all-black, burgundy, blue, gray and this pen, in forest green.

We are out of stock for the moment

The first is a user grade pen that has a minor internal stress line and a clouded ink window, but the real deal here is the nib, a butter smooth insanely expressive OBB. You don't see these nibs very often. Usually  a pen like this would be upward of $395. But because of the issues it is $295 and carries an extended guarantee of ten years (PE4803) SOLD

The second pen is an early example, probably from 1954, though the barrel markings (Export) suggest earlier production. This pen is in flawless condition. (GSH20). SOLD
