This is the legendary Pelikan Magnum. Most recent research indicates that the pens were made in 1935-36 as prototypes for a new model that would eventually become the smaller, slimmer 100N. At any rate there were a goodly number of them made, most were sold by the Pelikan Portugal distributor, Emegê. This is a fine example in good working order either as a special user or as part of an emerging collection. An essential part of any Pelikan lover's collection. Note that the tip on this pen, like most of these, is white metal. It can be replated.
